In 1988 Charles continued his exploration into the East West dialogue which would later lead him to join others to challenge the churches view on eastern meditation. In the following correspondence Charles reaches out to a well known advocate for east west materials, the Ojai Foundation in California for a copy of the Swamiji Abhishiktarda video and Bede Griffiths video entitled, The Space in the Heart of the Lotus which he shared with his monthly meditation group.
