Exploration of Sufism

Charles follows in the footsteps of Thomas Merton in late 1986, by exploring audio tapes of courses that Thomas Merton offered at Gethsemani in Kentucky. Bede Griffiths had a significant influence on Charles’ access to the wisdom of eastern traditions. Several papers and books on Islam and Sufism form part of Charles’ hermitage library.
