The legacy of falling in love with the natural world, which Charles Brandt invited citizens of the Comox Valley Regional District to do, is alive today with the many community groups caring for the natural environment in the Comox Valley. Fr Charles spent a lifetime setting an example of what could be done from a place of quiet meditation and stillness and thereby sowing seeds for residents of the Comox Valley to join community groups to continue to grow the legacy of restoring and protecting our natural world.
This video highlights the Morrison Headwaters Nature Preserve which is protected by the Comox Valley Land Trust.
The Comox Valley Land Trust also holds a Covenant to protect C Brandt’s 27 acres of wilderness and his Hermitage in perpetuity.
