Padre’s Walk by Charles Brandt

Charles had a large circle of friends in Campbell River and the Comox Valley who were ardent advocates on behalf of the natural world. The early one’s helped introduce Charles to the role he could play in protecting the natural world. These would include Roderick Haig-Brown, David Muir, Van Egan, Mack Laing, Ruth Masters, and Rev Amos William Mayse. Charles would often write articles about their lives and about their contribution towards creating a rich culture unique to Vancouver Island of protecting and living in harmony with the wilderness.
