Charles Brandt wanted us to fall in love with the natural world. One way was to share articles and photographs of the constantly changing arrival of migrating birds that would visit the Comox Valley/Campbell River forests and wetlands. Charles who studied ornithology at Cornell University was often called upon to confirm the identity of unusual birds. While at Cornell, Charles spent a summer in a mobile recording van capturing the voices of song birds in the eastern United States.
