Supporters

The Hermitage, our Resident Contemplative and the Brandt Oyster River Society (BORHS) could not continue without a community who also believe that Father Charles had a unique message to offer the world.

We sincerely thank the following supporters:

The Comox Valley Land Trust – Who hold a covenant on the 27 acres which protects the land in perpetuity.

Chris Kelsey – Who has graciously donated his legal skills and time to help BORHS find a way to fulfill Charles Brandt’s last will to establish a Hermitage and Park on the property.

Michael Shingen Price – Who kindly donated his skills and time to help build this website.

The Comox Valley Regional District – Heritage Department – Who generously awarded BORHS with an Archiving Grant so his teachings, his unique life story, his books and archival material can be preserved for future generations.

Knights of Columbus – Campbell River – Who refloored the upstairs bedroom and helped insulate the back cabin ceiling.

Judy Hagen – Who generously donated funds required to set up a trust to fund the CVLT’s role in upholding the Covenant.

Bruce Wood – Executor to Charles Brandt’s estate.
