The article provides a history of the Tsolum River Task Force in 2006 set up by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, its demise as a result of government funding cuts and the creation of Tsolum River Restoration Society of which Charles was a founding member. Charles was asked to speak about his experiences with the Tsolum River clean up at a later NOAMI conference.
