Clayoquot violates natives

Father Charles Brandt would often write in defense of First Nations peoples. This began in the 1960’s when he would visit the Snowden correctional facility and advocate on behalf of the youth regarding the mistreatment of First Nations youth. In this article Charles continues his advocacy role.

Quote: “The human community and the natural world must go into the future as a single sacred community. Otherwise we will perish in this wasteland. No one understands this better than the First Peoples. Afterall, they have lived in harmony with this particular part of the plant Earth for some 10,000 years,”
